International Marketing Manager, Military and Disaster Relief
Part of the Philips team dedicated to the development of Philips’ Military and Disaster Relief proposition, Alwena has been instrumental in developing health and wellness programmes for many years. With a background in strategic marketing, Alwena is well versed in understanding consumer needs and developing propositions designed to meet those needs. Prior to Philips, Alwena was responsible for designing and delivering social marketing programmes designed to improve the local population’s health and wellbeing. Following that Alwena developed and launched a series of online health and wellbeing tools for the UK Department of Health, before joining Philips Healthcare, where she has been for the past 5 years. Alwena is passionate about the Philips’ mission of saving and improving more lives and specifically about improving the provision of healthcare for remote communities having a drive to develop new solutions that bring healthcare closer to the point of need and a desire to partner with like-minded organisations.
