Vice President, Risk Management and Office Operations
Laura Schauble is the Vice President of Risk Management and Office Operations for ACDI/VOCA, an international economic development organization with agribusiness, food security and enterprise development projects in over 25 countries throughout the world. As a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Laura directs ACDI/VOCA’s risk assessment, reduction and insurance programs, ensuring the safety of traveling and expatriate employees, protection of assets, and continuity of operations in challenging environments. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA, Laura worked as an international insurance professional, leveraging her technical expertise and international practice to secure her clients’ unique and hard-to-insure risks throughout the world. Laura received her Master’s degree in International Relations from American University, and her Bachelor’s in Spanish from Lenoir Rhyne University. She volunteers at the Smithsonian National Zoo as a docent. Laura lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Justin, and in her free time enjoys horseback riding and travel, both near and far.
